Discover the secrets of Roman Verulamium with Veni Vidi Verulamium.Roman Britains, archaeologists & modern school children take you for a walk in the park, telling stories of daily life in Roman times, the excavations and artefacts in the Museum.
Veni Vidi Verulamium is available free of charge from Verulamium Museum on easy to use hand held devices (deposit or ID required), and from this website to download to your own Flash enabled device.
Based in Verulamium Park, the tours are available throughout the year. Buildings and roads featured are marked out on the ground during the summer months. Veni Vidi Verulamium takes you along Watling Street to visit temples, town houses with mosaics and a bath house. One tour takes you around the site of the Roman Theatre.
Veni Vidi Verulamium was produced by St Albans Museums and the University of Hertfordshire with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and St Albans District Council.
